I brought these to my husband and he loves them 3xlarge - 38 in the waist just for those who want these pants and he wears them to work all the time.

Very small. I usually wear between XL and XXL but when I read that these shorts are smaller than the tag says I ordered 3X. I couldn't fasten them and there was at least 4 inches of space between the fasteners.

Ordered 2 pairs. 1 black and 1 green. Both environments. A black couple I couldn't even stick my ass in. The green one came in one day and it fit perfectly. Not sure why the same size but different colors don't match in size.

These shorts are great. They have more pockets than regular cargo shorts and in all the right places. They're a little longer than I expected and a little tight in the drop but that's on me ;) They're made of a durable material and I washed them before wearing to give them a little less chafing. Overall they are good, I will keep them and use them regularly.

Pros: Durable, functional, sophisticated minimalist style and fit. Bought for a rugged mountain biking 4 days/3 nights in the Utah desert and totally reliable. in one of the Lightning options). The stride length is no joke either. I'm 6ft 5" and wear a 36-36 but these were only about knee length. I like the long ones - these might be a bit long.

I ordered black shorts because they didn't look that black on my monitor. They looked more like ash black, but they were pitch black as night. I'll wear them anyway, but just so you know. The side pockets could be a bit deeper and the zippered cargo pockets are too small to fit my large hands all the way. I wear size XL men's shorts but due to size I went up a size. I'm glad I did as the XXL fits the same as some of my XL shorts that look like it. The shorts themselves are very comfortable to wear when I'm running errands, around the house, hiking and even fishing.
