Good flashlights at a good price.

Nice bright lights I bought for my pontoon, one for the bow and one to moor my boat at night. They give some light. It's solid light, not flimsy plastic junk. And I can really attest to their low battery consumption. I bought them rocker switches without thinking that they were supposed to be waterproof. The rain system, which lasted several hours, went out and I assume these switches shorted out and the lights came on and stayed on all night until I was able to get out and unplug the power line from the switches. Both batteries, to which I connected a light bulb, still worked without any problems with all my other electronic devices. I was surprised. They were as bright as he was last night. If you're going to connect them to something that's going to be left outdoors, make sure you get waterproof switches like Carling. This will save you a lot of headache and time from having to redo everything and cut the slab. One thing for the manufacturer, you should include 4 small lock washers for the socket head screws, it only costs pennies but makes the product much more useful out of the box. As mentioned, these lights are quite heavy for their size and will move around in the mount if you hit or hit bumps, no matter how tight you screw them in. Lock washers help make them stronger and keep them in place. So if they don't include them in the future, grab one of the screws and go to your local hardware store, buy 4 for about 30 cents and you'll be glad you did. Install the nut, install the lock washer, thread the bolt through the mounting bracket and begin tightening. Once you've targeted them, give him an extra hold. Conclusion: Great light, waterproof switches and lock washers for a very good connection that doesn't cause any problems.
