I have a vintage 1939 kitchen with a wall mounted faucet - two pipes coming out of the wall to a tall domed central faucet. I have a large old flat enameled iron sink from 1939. The faucet sways left and right, but it doesn't have a sprayer - I can't clean the sink around the perimeter. Drives me insane trying to splash water around the sides of the sink to clean it. I bought this device. In less than a minute I unscrewed the old faucet cap (it's just a ring at the top of the faucet) and screwed it on. My faucet was male and this item was female. Fits perfectly. Comes with a simple adapter if your faucet is female. It's a solid piece when it comes to heavy plumbing, rather than some crappy plastic device. Dual Connection - It sprays on ALL parts of the sink and allows you to switch from steam to waste with a little twist. No leaks (I'd recommend installing teflon tape but that's not a problem if you don't have one). It works well. I've bought several more to install in my rentals and my renters love them.
