It may shock you to learn I don’t have $1500-$2000 laying around to keep me set up with brand new iPhones, so I rely on cases and screen protection to save my phone from my butterfingers. If there’s an inconvenient place to drop your phone I’ll go ahead and do it. I bought this case, screen protector, and camera lens combo 5 months ago, and I’ve regularly dropped my phone on cement, gravel, wet grass, staircases, and of course at the beach about twice a week since then. I did have to pop the camera protector off when I dropped it in the wet grass to ensure no moisture buildup, but otherwise everything remained in place and intact for all these months. Last week I dropped my phone in an amazingly slow motion movie rolling drop over a very rocky parking lot. As I watched it turn end over end, side over side and eventually got to pick it up it looked like 2 of the camera lenses cracked and the 3rd shattered, and my heart sank. I was terrified to remove anything but amazingly the case only had a minor corner scrape, and the screen protector was dirty but still intact. I reluctantly peeled away the camera protector only to find there was not a scratch, scrape or speck of dust on any of the cameras, flash, etc. Really, I could have gotten away with just getting a new camera cover from Tauri, but for the price I went ahead and got a whole new set. If you’ve read this far in the review, then you need to buy this. Now. You’re welcome.
