Review on 2.5" to 3.5" Drive Converter: Seamless Internal Solid State Upgrade Solution by Jesse Gray

Great Desktop SSD Bracket

Excellent bracket for installing a 2.5" SSD into a 3.5" HDD slot on a desktop PC. The frame is made of aluminum and comes with screws to attach the SSD drive to the frame and the frame to the PC hard drive bay. There are no alignment issues when installing the SSD to the frame as the mounting holes are slotted. The printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) provides the same power and data connector layout for the SATA SSD as the original 3.5" hard drive. By using this bracket, you can reuse all existing original SATA power and data cables to replace the hard drive with a smaller SSD drive. Additionally, the board used to reposition SATA connectors must provide a more reliable and durable electrical connection than using an optional SATA power cable extension.
