No I don't expect this to speed up my internet. Not my browser. No programs/applications that don't require a lot of memory. I bought the upgrade for a number of reasons: Value as the storage is much less than Apple's and it works perfectly. And for my big bloated programs like Bridge or Lightroom, this will help. Think of this memory upgrade as more space on your desk. It's much easier to multitask when you have a desk. The same with computers. If they can quickly access storage space to do tasks that will be overwritten by the next task, that's basically for it. If you are working with commercial software or large files, consider taking photos to make this easier. Hope that helps. Just do it. ;)
