Great product that "achieves" what it promises! I know most people are skeptical of such things, as you should be. Most of these "racing chips" on the market are scams. Nothing more than a cheap, small, reverse-connected capacitor housed in a package called a "racing chip". This performance chip is different. Before I buy something like this, I do some research about the company and the product. My research on this company and the chip definitely helped me with my purchasing decision. Unlike other similar and sometimes more expensive chips, this chip is professionally packaged and comes with informative instructions. The chip itself is encased in an ultra-protective steel case, and the connection wires are encased in a protective, densely braided sleeve. As with other similar chips, the connecting wires are built into your IAT sensor's wires via a very secure connection in the board. Although the installation process is similar to other chips. This special chip works wonders! I was skeptical at first as I didn't see any results until a week after installing it. During that first week, my ECU made the appropriate adjustments (as suggested in the information booklet). At first I noticed little things like improved fuel consumption and a slightly higher idle. About 10 days after installation I started to feel dramatic changes. Changes like increased torque, better throttle response, quicker launch and launch, and other shift points. Although I have never tested my car on a dyno, I know my car. Amazing both before and after. As well as this chip I have a couple of attachments that I installed a few months prior to receiving the chip. I bought a chip to "upgrade" my screws as my stock ECU just wasn't up to the task. There's nothing special about my boltons. Cold air intake only, complete racing exhaust and headers, camshafts and lower drive pulleys. I also removed my air conditioning and power steering. I didn't want to spend an insane amount on a high performance controller and this chip was exactly what I was looking for. Something to change my ECU to match my bolts. My gas mileage went from 24mpg to 35mpg! If it weren't for my extra mpg, the other changes might just have been in my head. The extra miles made me realize that the chip REALLY did something other than look pretty. By the way, my car is a 2003 Toyota Celica TRD-GT. THIS CHIP WORKS! At first I had a hard time believing that this chip worked SO WELL, but it works! If you don't make changes to your car I'm not sure you will feel the same drastic changes in horsepower and torque but I think you will notice a change in gas mileage! If you're looking for a miracle chip that turns your ride into a bullet, this chip isn't for you. However, if you have mods like the ones I have in my car and are looking for a cheap but reliable, robust chip that will enhance your mods and optimize your stock ECU accordingly, then THIS CHIP IS FOR YOU! It does what it says on the tin and I'm certainly glad I bought it.
