I have spent over a thousand dollars on Kreg and for the most part they make quality tools and supplies. Unfortunately, this item is far from what I expected from the brand. In hindsight I should have guessed it would be mediocre just looking at the construction of this thing. This tool is basically a plastic combination square with some added angles and lots of slop. The case is plastic and doesn't match the line. The design is inherently shaky and inaccurate. You only need a square to align Krag squarely. It seems to defeat the purpose. At $15 or so, it's cheap, but unfortunately, it's also cheap. It's probably fine if you do a rough crop or something like that. However, if you prefer good woodwork or generally value accuracy, skip this step. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $50 on a decent quality combo square like those from IGaging or Starret. It will be cheaper in the long run.
