I put two of these in my garage with 9 foot ceilings. There's plenty of light output, but I think they're probably better suited to higher-level applications as the focus of the light isn't as diffuse as I'd hoped. In general, these are good flashlights. The color is not warm, but daylight-bright. The light also casts hard shadows. Appears to be directional rather than diffuse
