This is basically USB 2.0 with a 3.0 interface. The maximum write speed I have on them is 20MB/s. I thought I would use them to create a bootable Ubuntu USB, but they are so slow and of poor quality that I now have to look for an alternative. Stay away from low-speed, poor-quality USB 2.0 known as USB 3.0.
