We ordered a size 6-8 yellow SwimZip Baby Boy Rashguard for our 6 year old son (48 inches, 40 pounds). He swam in it (too long, too big, too much space everywhere). So we asked our 8 year old daughter to wear it (she is 53 inches, 60lbs) and it fit well and had plenty of room to grow (please note it was not skinny or form fitting, the cut is not girly and the zipper is closed). wrong side for a girl, but it suits our purpose of just playing billiards).
