Large glass teapot. It's thin, but we haven't broken it yet. We drink a lot of hot tea and 4 old 48oz coffee pots are not enough for my family. This one is larger, but to get 70 ounces you have to fill it to the brim. It's too heavy so I wouldn't allow kids to use it. It looks great with iced tea or lemonade, but I'd rather use lemonade plastic. Hope it lasts and I look forward to using it more as it gets colder. What I didn't like is that the hole in the spout lid is too small and it takes a few minutes to pour four large cups.
