Easy to read, backlighting helps. Some dimming when you are off to an angle but not bad. The only issue is the direction arrows seem backwards. When an arrow is on the left side of something pointing down, that would suggest a COUNTER clockwise rotation, correct? But NO, that means the object is rotated CLOCKWISE from zero. The arrow is pointing to where zero is, not the direction you have rotated. Not a problem when you are at a visible angle and can tell which direction you are, but if you are measuring small, 1-2 deg angles from zero, it requires you to double check. Still a handy little tool, should have bought one years ago.
