Review on TV Remote Control Security Lock - Remote Keeper Cable Kit by Jay Maryland

I dared to be the first to buy and test this cable lock. This version appears to have flexible ends, which helps with our curved remote control. Yesterday I fitted a cable lock to the console on our sofa and everything seems fine. The picture corresponds exactly to the product. I really wish it started out a little looser, but I'm sure the coils will weaken over time. The only thing that really worries me is that the cable comes out of the top of the pad and not the side. The latter seems less intrusive, especially as I use it on the top of my remote but place it on the bottom. EDIT: I forgot to mention that the round bracket was too big for the console area. We chose remote control. The mounting pad was cut with scissors which worked great. EDIT 2: It's been a few months now and the cable lock is still going strong in everyday use by me and my family. The coils have become loose and the cable coming from the top of the remote has flattened enough that it's no longer a problem. We love this thing, the sofa hasn't eaten the remote control since it was installed.
