I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh 265 pounds. I regularly wear 2X or 3X depending on the cut so I was very concerned when I ordered the XL that it wouldn't fit me. But this dress is amazing! very comfortable, still has a lot of "ruffle" for my size and I could easily go 2 sizes up and still wear it although it doesn't gather as much. The material is wonderful soft polyester and the seams are securely sewn with no snagging threads. So if you're a big girl looking for the perfect peasant dress, look no further! This is the one for you!
