This is a basic case very similar to the brand blue also available. I like it because it's made of hard plastic so it won't get crushed in a hockey bag and I don't have to worry about my spare blades bending. The hard plastic lid tends to creep inside. the way you open it to take out or put in spare steel. It also has small lugs that keep your steel securely inside, but only two of the four are comfortable to use. The other two are too close to the sidewalls, so they are very stiff. They make it difficult for the steel to get into the grooves, especially if they have just been sharpened. It's the same issue as the signature blue, so I really don't think one is better than the other (I have several of these in my family as well as teammates, so I'm confident in my comparison). works, but I think there are better ways to wear your steel. I think a case would be more convenient, but it just wouldn't offer the same level of protection as a hard case.
