I take well water and run it through a Zerowater filter jug and add it to an Ehm Ultra II filter to increase its alkalinity. I tested the water from the Zerowater pitcher and there was no manganese in it. I also tested the same water that had passed through an Ehm jug filter and was saturated with manganese. The manganese portion of the test strip immediately turned purple. Manganese is water, generally not as beneficial as manganese found in foods. With this manganese content, this water does not meet the safety requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency. I am attaching 2 photos.
