The reviews are correct.

I bought a pair with reservations based on other reviews saying poor/average quality. Between bad ferrules to catch the eye and one of the mirror panes that came loose and committed suicide on the highway. , my doubts were justified. That being said, these are basically the only replacements of this type after much research on the web, so I'm grateful I found them and modified them as needed to make them work.
