These lights are battery operated so no plug required! They attract attention from a distance and look funny in groups. Up close they look a bit cheap. I'm not exactly sure what application most people would buy them for. I find the way they turn on a bit odd. You click on the lightbulb to turn it on. I was hoping to use them to create the portable light project I was thinking of. However, I had to abandon it because of this idea as removing the "bulb" on the mount just doesn't work for my application. I also don't care about the blue cool white light these lights give off. The light isn't very bright either. It feels cold and I prefer warm, soft light, which I think creates a friendlier atmosphere. Overall for the price it's fun, just a little odd.
