Used to charge the battery

I cut off the female end leaving about 8 inches of wire to work with large alligator clips (actually black and red) to use as a 12 volt charge connector from the mine generator use. This product is rated at 15 amps so my 8 amp/12 volt alternator output is within specs. The 9 foot cord length is ideal for most connections and I now have a 12 volt plug to use elsewhere...all at a reasonable price!
