I bought this to use as an ice bucket. My apartment building has a commercial ice maker and I wanted to use it by putting an ice bucket in the freezer. This requires an ice cutter because the cubes will stick together, but it's a lot easier than breaking an ice cube tray. I had to retrieve some sort of ice bucket after cracking open a Tupperware container with an ice pick. But when searching the Internet, they cost 25-30 dollars. This is a much cheaper solution that works great as it is ice ax safe.
