Sorry to be writing my first bad review on a product purchased from Revain. I bought this clutch lock for a clutch basket that I used on a 3 1/2 month hike. It certainly worked well on the trip - I locked it and didn't touch it until I got home and removed the basket. The next time I tried to put the basket back on the car, the locking mechanism froze in the closed position. Now unusable. So, to recap, this lock was "operated" twice before it failed: 1) put its basket on my car, 2) removed the basket from my car. I would like to draw attention to other reviews that have warned about this issue. Don't waste money. Buy a higher quality product.
