I put my M.2 drive in the case and connected the USB-C cable. I highlighted the drive in Disk Management and did a quick NTFS format. When trying to clone to a drive in one case, Macrium Reflect gave an error and Acronis just couldn't see it. There is no way to change the sector size. The articles I read clearly state that this is a problem with the external drives used for cloning. I'm using the same SSD drive as source and destination. I have a second NVMe slot on the board. I put the target drive there, used Acronis and cloned it successfully. It would be easier not to do this and use an external drive instead.
