Overall they are great for the price. They look good and are very bright. Two negatives are the attachment system and the wires. The detachable bracket has 4 cross-shaped pilot holes that can complicate installation over existing wiring. If you don't make the mount perfectly flush with the ceiling, the light will have a gap anywhere it's not flush, making it look terrible. You can't tell for sure if it's not flush until you turn it all the way to the locked position. Can be very frustrating, don't try to assemble them by yourself. The second negative is the wires. The wires are very thin with only a small portion of the open ends. I had to strip a good half inch of insulation from them to properly connect them to my house's wiring. If you're not good at stripping I would refrain from doing this as it can cut too deep into thin wire.
