A very handy item for preparing bone broth and ghee or ghee. Works for everyone. For the broth, decant the broth and leave the fat in the separator for storage or disposal. For butter, decant the milk solids for storage or disposal, leaving the butter in the separator. But whichever way you go, it works great. It's solid and I haven't had any leaking issues. Like all those hard plastics, it's best to hand wash and paper towel dry if you want them to stay clear.
