Platform parts do not fit properly in the cage - you cannot attach parts to two opening doors because you need to be able to open and close doors - only one will fit properly, the other two will not fit and neither does the ladder. A hammock is a tiny, thin piece of fabric that a hamster can fit on. I bought this for my 9 lb kitten who loves being outside but can't let her into my new territory because of the coyotes - she looks at this cage and won't even jump on the platform because she thinks that it's not strong enough (cats aren't stupid!) and the fact that it's literally a metal wire deters cats from sticking their claws in (which is why they feel safe enough to jump knowing that they can claw through), but metal holes without cutting them. This should be advertised to rabbits and ferrets only - NOT CATS. My cats won't use it and now I'm stuck on my balcony with it =( too much hassle to return it. I don't recommend it for cats or even kittens.
