Our Boston Terrier has a neurological disorder and her hind legs have become very weak. Those paw pads give him a little grip on hardwood floors. Without her, she often becomes "Bambi". (Remember that scene with Bambi on the ice when his legs were first spread?) They last about a day or two if it's not wet outside. They really helped her stay mobile and we didn't have to worry about her getting stuck on the ground. They're super easy to put on and she doesn't even seem to know they're there...though she bounces a bit when she feels safe!
