Paw pads give our older dog with arthritis and back problems more stability on our hardwood floors. He doesn't like socks or boots, but seems to be fine with them. They are designed to be easily removed with water. So plan when you apply new ones, especially if they get wet. It takes a while for the glue to set, so I leave it on the pad of his paw for about a minute. In general it works as expected, just watch the water.

They really help our dog not to slip. I wish they stayed longer, but they have to be thin material to allow the pads to "breathe". This process is a commitment, but well worth it. They go pretty easy. We don't put them all in and cut out individual pieces of the pads - we make something of a hybrid.
