I had very different expectations from this rack. The problem is that it's not really a rack, but three pieces that you have to put together exactly if you want the bike hooks to slide properly. I fixed this by attaching the three pieces to a plank of wood a few inches apart and then attaching the plank of wood to the wall. If you can find a similar way to do some sort of update/arrangement, you should be fine. After that I added all the hooks and the device works fine. The hooks support the weight of the bikes well and are easy to lift and remove. Suitable for our two adult bikes, three children's bikes and a stroller. I hope this helps you with your shopping.
