I like its ease of use for data integration from multiple sources as it has been seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Dynamics GP/365 since day 1! It's great because you can set up your own views without having to go through many steps or spend hours doing so. The UI could be better in certain areas but nothing too major. As long as both partners are comfortable using Excel then there shouldn't really an issue here. If this fits into your current model, do yourself (and others)a favor by going ahead and giving datamation some serious consideration. We needed something where we didn’t have to manually pull all our financial transactions together across various departments every month--it was time consuming work that would usually require us spending days at a pop pulling them together ourselves. Using DataDimensional makes those tasks much easier and faster now and gives everyone more visibility and insight regarding how their team members were performing versus what they should have been accomplishing each week. I like how easy it was for our team of engineers at work (all with different skill sets)to understand what we were doing when using this toolset! It's also very flexible in terms of allowing us freedom within certain parameters - but you have some limitations as well if your needs are too out-of-the box or not aligned towards BI/DW goals / objectives. We've been able to build several dashboards quickly without needing any training from anyone other than someone who knows basic programming skillset.
