I bought this collar to help my 11 month old puppy stop digging in the ground, stop jumping on people when they first see them and sometimes he's a little talkative. The collar is very light and not as bulky as other collars. The remote control is lightweight and easy to carry. The only thing that could improve the remote control is the presence of a carabiner so it can be attached to something for easier handling. The first time I used it I set it to 4 as my husband and I tested it on our finger as the instructions suggest. My dog became talkative (bites easily when playing with me). First, I pressed the beeb button. My dog didn't notice, I hit the beeb 2 more times without him responding. Then I hit the vibrate button, which caught his attention and he immediately stopped. The next test was digging. They recommend leaving the dog outside where he can't see you and where there are no other people or distractions as you don't want them to associate collar negativity with anything other than digging and wait until he actually does start digging. dig and then activate the collar. Well all I had to do was press the horn button and it stopped immediately. My puppy responded very well to the collar. And I didn't even have to use the shock button. I only applied vibrations to it once. He associates the beep with the need to stop what he's doing. I am very happy with the collar. It is very easy to use, easy to set up and charge. Holds a charge for a very long time. And there's a light on the collar to let you know it's on. Love it. ❤️
