Bought this for a 9mm pistol and it works just fine. It’s really well made and looks nice (if it matters to you - which it might if you have this on a nightstand or dresser). It’s also relatively easy to set up.Biometric fingerprint scanner is flakey. This is not my first pistol safe so I can reasonably say that most fingerprint scanners are flakey. But you have a keypad and manual key to open it. If you are buying this partly for quick access in a self defense situation, I’d practice getting your firearm out using mostly the keypad. The fingerprint scanner is probably going to slow you down in a self defense situation. The only critique I have is the app. I wouldn’t trust it as a locking method. It looks like a templated app most likely put together by a budget company in India. Also - this app is designed to open a safe right? Except it fails to take advantage of biometric security like FaceID. Instead offering a puzzle game unlock from 2008. I’d use it strictly for battery life monitoring. Don’t rely on it for much else.Oh and skip the Biometric 2.0 NanoKey. It’s garbage
