This collar feels slick like it's made of thin material but I've had it since July and as of this writing there is no sign of damage or wear. My dog is starting to like this collar knowing it means treats and walks. She won't pull it that easy. I wish she could open her mouth a little more, but she is closer to the maximum girth for this size, so expect it to not fit perfectly. However, she can eat, drink, lick her lips, etc. A great tool to train concentration. I also honestly like that it's a bit like a muzzle because it reduces unwanted stroking during exercise.
