I wanted to try and eliminate some slightly musty smells in my apartment. I have 2 cats and even after using carpet cleaners that obscure "corn chips" smell lingered on the carpets as well as the couch. Also, my bedroom is in the basement and it can smell slightly damp. Nothing strong or super flashy unless you sniff it. So I went to town with this spray: air, carpets, upholstered furniture that my cats like to sleep on, a bedroom. It's hard to tell by the smell, but I think it knocked it down a bit, apart from the humidity in the basement. It's still there. But something strange happened. My cats fight from time to time and one of them may be a bit aggressive. He is a restless boy and very sensitive to change. The next morning after I shed a tear, he was very aggressive. Both cats hissed and fought like bad guys. My cat went and sniffed something. My cat seemed wary of where to sleep and didn't go to her usual stool, which I sprayed. Instead, he opted for a toilet that wasn't sprayed. I'm not sure if the spray worked well enough to remove all traces of their familiar smell, or if there was something offensive in the spray that they find offensive (specific ingredients not listed making it difficult to spot). .I hesitate to try again. At least next time I probably wouldn't do everything at once.
