Hi-Float works! Hi-float is intended for use in very small quantities. I inflated 25 12 inch latex balloons for my son's January birthday and they all stayed afloat for at least 24 hours with some losing their buoyancy after the full 24 hours and others lasting over 48 hours! Insert the tip all the way into the "top" of the latex balloon (not just the opening of the balloon) and pump a pea-sized amount of Hi-Float into the balloon. Then massage the balloon to make the product work with it. The inside of the balloon should be evenly coated with the Hi-Float gel. It takes very little, and you'll want to do this before you fill your balloon with helium. Follow this method and I promise your balloons will last for hours. This is the same product and brand we used when I worked in the flower shop and would never have filled latex balloons without it. Remember that a (very) little goes a long way!
