We have a greyhound. She is tall and weighs 91 pounds. She's getting older and I thought she froze at night during the winter months. I started looking for dog pajamas last year. I did a lot of research and finally bought a trendy pair of dog pajamas from an Etsy seller. They were very well made, but too small. Yes, I sent measurements. And yes, I have measured our dog before with no problems. I sent the pajamas back and the seller kindly extended them. Still too small. I think the problem was that our dog has a very deep chest. So I put my pajamas in the drawer. A few months passed and I decided to try again. This time, however, I wanted to keep it simple and less expensive. So I bought this dog jacket last week thinking I could use it for pajamas. The jacket has arrived and fits. And that's about a fifth of what I paid for pajamas on Etsy. It's the end of May so our dog isn't wearing them right now, but I'll say the coat looks well sewn. It fastens with Velcro under the stomach and under the neck. Tight enough to hold on to but not too tight. The material of the coat is thick enough to keep you warm at night without getting too hot. I ordered XXXL. I couldn't get any smaller. Time will tell if the coat wears like pajamas, but I'm optimistic.
