I bought this shampoo because I felt it was a very good value for money Purple Shampoo . The bottle was smaller than originally expected. I used this on dry hair to tone it up; I used about 1/3 of the bottle on my head and let it sit for an hour. The formula was thick and dark, and a little went a long way. It was still pretty runny and went everywhere, but thankfully it didn't stain my bathroom surfaces. When I washed it out, my hair became incredibly dry and brittle, even under the running water. I used my regular shampoo and conditioner to make up for the lack of moisture in my hair. The tinting properties did not convince me. Some of my light blonde highlights seemed to turn into a nice white blonde, but most of my dark blonde hair didn't change. I'll probably use a regular toner now and just use this shampoo to keep up with it.
