Review on Cole & Mason Salt & Pepper Mill Kew Black/Chrome by Edyta Osinowska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little bit not what I expected, generally fine.

Got pros: Handy mill, two in one, thanks to which it takes up less space in the kitchen. Individual adjustment of the degree of grinding for each compartment. The buttons are rubberized, it is convenient to use. There is no unnecessary backlighting that other manufacturers like to poke. Its cons: - After about a year of use, the motor stopped coping with grinding, regardless of the degree of grinding: salt crystals get clogged in the millstones, and instead of grinding them, the motor just hums. If tapped lightly to pop the crystals out, it works for about a second until the new crystals block the millstones again. It's a shame, for the money I wanted more reliability. - Requires six AAA batteries to operate. Keep this in mind because these are additional "maintenance" costs. I will not say that they sit down quickly - a month or two, depending on the frequency of use. I bought rechargeable batteries after several replacements. - The output of the ground product from below, which is why it is better for the mill to have some kind of stand, otherwise the surface on which it stands will be all crumbs from salt and pepper.
