Blunt cutting edges make slicing impossible
I tried to cut french fries twice, the knife barely penetrated the potatoes and both times I had to use a hammer to pry the potatoes off the knife. The edges of the blade were warped after only two uses. Not at all like the old-fashioned cutter my mom had.
