Review on πŸ”Œ SATA Controller PCI Express Card - 4 Port with Cables, Low Profile Bracket Included - Supports 4 SATA 3.0 Devices at 6 Gbps by Eric Salem

Great way to add more SATA to your PC

The unit came in a very plain white box with no frills but it had everything you needed. I just installed it and used it to move 2 of my internal hard drives from 3Gb/s ports to 2 of the 4 6Gb/s ports on the card. It came with SATA data cables that were better than mine. These cables had locks to keep them in place, while some of mine just slipped off and were easily removed. So I quickly swapped them out. I didn't need any settings. The 2 drives I moved were E and H drives on my system. Drive C, my SSD, was connected to one of two native 6Gbps ports on the motherboard, as was my D drive. My 2 CD/DVD-ROM drives are connected to 2 3Gbps ports connected to my motherboard. 2.2TB I need to give myself a total storage of 10.48TB across 6 drives including my 480GB SSD. Having just completed a clean install of Win 10 and cleaned up the system, I am very pleased with the performance of this old computer. Intel I5, 16GB RAM, 2GB Nvida graphics card. It takes about 20 seconds to load!.
