Note that I didn't say "industrial grade" but rather "commercial grade" because it's better than what I've seen on many consumer devices. As with wire bushings, you need to look at the blades to see if they are brass or silver metal so you know where the shop-end attachments go. Excess soil is evident. With this connector set, only half of the pins on the neutral terminal are brass or silver-plated steel. It's easy to see but has no obvious markings. The fork ends have enough bite that they don't break unless you really want to. I love the bright combination of yellow and white. Helps you see them on the ground, making them less likely to be stepped on. This is a 15 amp plug. It has a good secure grip on the inner ends of the wires with two terminal screws ideal for round cables. The Romex cable may or may not hold up as securely unless you add a rubber band. Maybe I'm being too critical here. Overall, this is a good, powerful set of connectors. It's time to lighten up your worn out extensions and this is a great way to do it.
