Review on Vitamix Classic Black Tamper - Enhance Blender Performance! by Eddie Duncan

I ripped out my tamper tool - yes, I know you're only supposed to use the tamper with the VM cover, but somehow I did I skipped this step ONCE. Warning: Vitamix blades are very unforgiving. Totally my fault. This replacement tamper is exactly the same as the one in my original Costco VM. (I checked the VM model numbers before purchasing.) Considering how expensive the VM itself was, I expected the tamper replacement to be really cheap and was pleasantly surprised at its reasonable price. So far it has worked great. On the other hand, I've also learned the hard way to always, always, always make sure the lid is on the virtual machine before using the tamper.
