Review on Alessi Stainless Steel Mirror Polished Honey Dipper - Acacia Honey, Silver Finish by Marina Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Alessi = Excellence

Some people mention the cost but with lifetime depreciation it's not even a stain on your bank account. I wanted to serve honey on an officially set table and my sample dishes don't have anything for honey - I tried with a jelly spoon, stupid idea. So I took a chance and stuffed it into my ornate 100-year-old faceted honey jar; the thin conical handle [approx. 8/16 of the circumference in the middle] fits perfectly into the small hole in the lid of the jar. Strangely, due to its simplicity and Alessi's focus on functionality, it didn't look fancy or out of place and, like all alessi products, worked perfectly. As a conversation starter you can go first, draw attention to this beautiful tool and tell people how to use the dripper - some of the guests have never seen/used it - and of course the small rounded handle of this tool allows you to rotate Holding honey in the head of the dropper is a breeze. You won't regret this amazing work of art.
