I bought this bag because my large adidas backpack I got for college was waterproof but got wet from a recent downpour while walking from one building to another, so i bought it when i got home that day everything in this bag that fits in a big bag fits perfectly in this bag and because it is compact compared to regular backpacks it puts less strain on my back but today a downpour put them to the test for the first time and I was soaked from head to toe and the outside of the bag was wet but dried very quickly but inside everything was completely dry, not even wet, unlike the adidas waterproof backpack in which I had to replace my spiral notebook and TI calculator -84+ which if you're at college or older school you know how expensive it is, and for a single mom on a budget I couldn't risk my laptop which luckily I put in a plastic bag so it wouldn't get wet in my old backpack but I don't need that bag. I don't have to, it has my expectations more than I can express, if you're worried about the size, it's perfect. I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro and it fits like a glove. It's perfect, it's not cramped, it has enough room for my books and five-piece notebook, all my pens, papers, everything, even my wallet, my meds and my 32-ounce water bottle, I highly recommend it. heavy women shirt size 3X-4X for reference and it fits me perfectly and it's comfortable it's not too tight it's perfect. I really like it and will probably buy a second one so when this one wears out like any overtime backpack I will have a second one just in case it gets discontinued in this style because I'm in love with it
