These are the correct screws, same as OEM. If the bushings fit a little more into the holes on the stock plastic intake manifold then that's fine, the originals on my 2002 5.3L truck engine did the same. Just twist them at an angle and they go in the hole. I replaced mine because the old bolt heads were rusty and the new ones are applied with thread sealant and ready to go. After installation I cleaned the screw heads with acetone and applied a small brush of urethane anti-rust paint to protect them better than the light silver paint already applied. Be sure to tighten them in two steps using the correct pattern per the GM service manual.
