The only assembly was to connect the four wheels, very simple, no tools. The car moved perfectly smoothly, no adjustment was required. Today I used the umbrella holder for the first time. It was all plastic and swayed as I pushed the cart. I was afraid it might break, so I held the holder so it didn't move. The storage compartment is small. It fits in a wallet but not in a mobile phone. I was hoping there were accessories that could be added, like a seat or mesh bag. But I couldn't find any. But overall a great car. Very satisfied. I highly recommend this car if you are looking to buy it.
