For some reason, in the Xiaomi phone across the room from the router, speedtest shows a noticeably higher speed without a repeater than with it. At the same time, in the Samsung phone, on the contrary, through the repeater, the speed is higher. Has pros: Inexpensive, quite compact, with a good range, including seamlessly, you can throw Wi-Fi into the far part of the apartment (to the balcony) or even through a couple of neighboring apartments (the repeater already complains that the router is far away, but speedtest gives a speed of about 40 Mbps), operates on 2.4/5 GHz. Different cons: It is inconvenient that only 1 access point can pass through (but immediately at 2.4 / 5 GHz). The router has a main and a guest, I wanted to throw both, but it does not. In addition, you can seamlessly throw only the main point, the guest point only in the old fashioned way. It is also inconvenient that you cannot seamlessly connect a repeater to a repeater. Perhaps this is a limitation of the router, but most likely in the principle of this mesh system.
