I'm curious if it will stand up to the outside weather with bare hands. The movement on the back has an extra cover to protect against moisture, it seals well. In fact, it seals so well that it's difficult to take off, you can't turn the watch upside down as the hands will be exposed and could be damaged. After a few days it's keeping time well and unlike some other reviewers the temp gauge seems fairly accurate. Tip: I found the battery to be much easier to insert if you plug in the (+) end first - the clearance is a little closer.
