It's not worth it. Refer to Lowrance or SIMRAD

I installed and started this device today and ALL the maps are plain by default and not detailed. The description read "Navigate any body of water with preloaded BlueChart® g3 coast charts" but there is NO depth or distance/measurements at all. with built-in Navionics® data covering over 17,000 lakes with contours up to 1ft.” However, very little data is displayed and extremely difficult to attempt and update. I'm connected to Wi-Fi, but the Active Captain app says I NEED an SD card. I distinctly remember saying I didn't need it in detail before I bought it. I'm also getting messages that I need to buy regions if I want updated maps. How come this damn thing is over $700 and has no charts?!?! Next time I'll stick with Simrad or Lowrance. Garmin is too bulky and complicated.
