Review on Top-quality Aviation Headset: Comfort Ear Seals, 24db Noise Cancellation, MP3 Support & Carrying Case by Jason Ballard

I have used this headset 6 times and it worked fine the first 4 times but the last 2 times (after only 2 months of use) the mic stopped working. turned out to be very wrong. I've tried it on different planes on different days now and the mic keeps dropping. Sometimes I speak for ten seconds or more, but the microphone doesn't pick me up. I played around with this for a while and eventually removed the lid to see if that helped (didn't help). The quality of the headphones themselves is okay, but they're not Bose or anything like that. Update: After searching and emailing back and forth for a while I finally got a replacement mic that was easy to put in. It was a slightly different size and shape than the original, but with foam you wouldn't know that. The issue seems to be resolved for now, so I've updated my review accordingly. Mic issues and less than perfect headphone quality are the reason why it doesn't quite live up to the 5 star quality in my book. However, it is a decent value compared to others on the market.
